UIIN and Triple Helix Association: Workshop on University-Business-Cooperation US/Europe Studies
On the 7th of July, the University-Business Cooperation Workshop, run by University Industry Innovation Network, the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre and the Triple Helix Association will shine a spotlight on the topic of University-Business Cooperation (UBC). Workshop attendees will hear from and discuss relevant issues in cooperation between universities and business including entrepreneurship, collaborative research, commercialisation of research and development (IP) results, collaborative curriculum development, mobility and lifelong learning.
The workshop will take place in the prestigious Oxford and Cambridge Club on 71 Pall Mall in London, the United Kingdom. The workshop is a pre-conference event of the Triple Helix Conference which will take place in London from the 10th to 12th of July. Workshop speakers will range from Henry Etzkowitz (President of the Triple Helix Association), Thomas Baaken (Director of the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre) to Marina Ranga (H-Star Institute at Stanford University). Followed by a facilitated discussion on University-Business Cooperation in Europe – a comparison with the United States, which will be moderated by Todd Davey (Manager International Projects at the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre)
