UIIN Member Hosts European Remanufacturing Network Event in Grenoble

On March 15th 2016 the G-SCOP laboratory is hosting a remanufacturing workshop in the framework of the European Remanufacturing Network project.

The purpose of the workshop is to discuss new challenges and perspectives in remanufacturing industry and research. The current results of the ERN project will be discussed and industry feedback on remanufacturing will be presented.

The host of this event is the G-SCOP laboratory at the University of Grenoble Alpes. The G-SCOP’s research domain ranges from product design to production systems’ management leaning on sound skills in optimization. An essential focus is put on the conditions of sustainable growth and control levers for economic performance in companies.

Founded earlier in 2015, the European Remanufacturing Network aims to help existing remanufacturers improve their operations, improving the competitiveness of remanufacturers domestically and internationally and raising the profile of the European remanufacturing industry. More information about the project can be found on the ERN website: http://www.remanufacturing.eu/

The program and all practical information are available on the website event: http://erngrenoble2016.sciencesconf.org/
