1st Asia-Pacific University Industry Engagement Conference Attracts More Than 200 Participants From 29 Countries
Australia has hosted the first Asia-Pacific University Industry Engagement Conference on 15-17 February, 2017. Having taken place in Adelaide, the event has attracted more than 200 participants, including university managers, researchers, policy-makers and innovation and entrepreneurship managers from 29 countries across the globe.
Over the three days, the attendees had an opportunity to discuss the topic of university-industry engagement and share their experiences from both a scientific as well as practitioners angle during the various sessions and presentations. An integral part of the conference was the social program, which covered interactive workshops, the get-together and a conference dinner with a unique view of Adelaide. These activities encouraged the participants to interact, share knowledge, and establish new contacts with peers.
