Universities that are ready to collaborate: Key success factors
What is common among the universities ready to collaborate with private and public actors and among the universities that are not? Intrigued by this question, we undertook extensive literature review, analyzed existing benchmarking tools and interviewed 50 experts and practitioners in the field of university-business-society cooperation to outline key success factors of engagement readiness.
This report brief highlights the key findings from the research and outlines four themes crucial for defining university organisational readiness to collaborate beyond quantitative metrics. The results from this research prompted us to further define the dimensions of university readiness to engagement, about which you can read in our article Six Dimensions of Readiness: What Universities Need to Engage and Collaborate.
