We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone attending the conference and creating the best possible experience for all participants. We expect all participants—speakers, attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, and volunteers—to abide by this Code of Conduct.

In the case you would like to cancel your registration the following policy applies:

• Cancellations made by March 1st 2026, will be fully refunded minus a EUR 50.00 administration fee.
• Cancellations after March 1st 2026 but before April 10th 2026 will be refunded to 50% of the original ticket price.
• Cancellations after April 10th are non-refundable.

No problem! Upon checkout, you will be prompted to select your preferred payment method, please select ‘Pay by invoice/bank transfer’ and an invoice will automatically be generated for you. Furthermore, you can also always download your invoice in your Members Area once you are logged into your UIIN account.

Attendees may transfer registrations to another person at no charge prior to 1 June 2026, by emailing office@uiin.org.

Within most of Europe’s VAT regulations, events are taxed in the country within which they take place. Therefore, your invoice will include 25% VAT. You can reclaim this through (1) your own national tax authorities, (2) the Swedish tax authorities or (3) by using an external service provider. Please note that UIIN is unable to provide tax advice or support for you in this matter.

Depending on your membership plan, you can benefit from up to 5 complimentary tickets as well as 25% discount on all additional tickets. Please contact the account holder of your membership who will be able to provide you with the coupon code to register.

UIIN offers subsidised tickets to full-time PhD students and delegates from institutions based in low- and lower-middle-income countries.

This initiative is designed to ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities offered at UIIN events. No, conference delegates are responsible for arranging their own transportation.

Only registered attendees can access the conference. However, we welcome a plus-one for our evening social events. Should you wish to bring a guest, please add a ‘Social Package’ ticket during your registration. If your guest decides to join post-registration, simply email us to arrange the additional ticket.
