Join the UIIN Pathway to Impact Program and shape your external engagement measurement!
You can’t manage what you can’t measure… and measuring third mission impact continues to be a significant struggle for universities. For this reason, Pathway to Impact brings together ambitious, innovative universities to create their evidence-based framework for measuring external engagement.
Developing a way to capture and measure the impact of your external engagement is important for universities, whether you are looking for a way to measure and manage your university’s performance, enhance your university’s reputation, access more funding or raise awareness internally on the benefits of external engagement.
The program provides an opportunity for universities to undertake an extensive mapping of their external engagement activities and identification of the main results and supporting structures. Using an evidence-based framework, universities will be supported to create their own Pathway to Impact framework and identify potential methods of data collection and metrics for their engagement activities.

How does it work?

Each university will form a core team of up to 6 representatives ranging from university leadership, research, academic and professional staff responsible for engagement

The core team will participate in the group events, work collaboratively with UIIN and act as ambassadors within their university to drive the activities and translate the learnings

Each university team will have access to experts who will work closely with the teams to provide advice and recommendations

After the program, stay connected with your cohort peers as part of a network of program alumni
