Ian Thomson
Head of UTS Animal Logic Academy
As Industry Associate Professor and Head of the UTS Animal Logic Academy, Thomson currently leads the Masters of Animation and Visualisation and sit on the executive committee of the UTS Visualisation Institute.
Thomson has over 30 years of international experience as an industry leading educator, filmmaker, digital and social media author, writer and designer. Previously he led the Advertising and Digital Media faculty at Macleay College where he developed bachelor courses in Advertising & Media and Digital Media, as well as diploma courses in Content Creation, User Experience Design and Digital & Social Media Marketing.
He has won a number of awards ranging from the New York Festivals, BDA, Promax, Eyes & Ears of Europe, Cannes, the World Media Awards, Vienna Corporate Film Festival and AWARD.
