What is a fireside chat?

A UIIN Fireside Chat is an hour-long, interview session between a UIIN facilitator and an external industry expert on a high-level topic. Participants will leave with insights and inspiration after hearing the experiences and perspectives of the guest speaker, and have the opportunity to ask questions during the session. Fireside Chats are also recorded for UIIN podcasts and are available after the session.

Farshida has a track record in the field of education innovation and has co-designed, developed and implemented both educational programs as well as new applications and platforms for educational purposes. With ErasmusX she introduced radical innovations at the heart of the University. Currently leading the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship in Rotterdam she and her teams are using an ecosystems approach to empower changemakers with skills and competencies to create a positive societal impact in their communities. Farshida has been awarded several prizes for her work in the field of education innovation and is a frequent speaker nationally and internationally.
