The ICB is a cutting-edge innovation ecosystem and research hub located in the centre of Brisbane, Australia, shaping the future of digital transformation in Queensland and beyond by connecting academia, industry and government to solve real-world problems.

Founded in partnership by Cisco & QUT, the ICB is enabling collaboration between students, researchers and industry to accelerate digital solutions through design, experimentation and rapid prototyping. Part of the Faculty of Business and Law servicing the whole university community at QUT, research projects focus on real-world problems that industry are facing today to be ready for tomorrow.

About fireside chats

A UIIN Fireside Chat is a 30-minute long, interview session between a UIIN facilitator and an external industry expert on a high-level topic. Participants will leave with insights and inspiration after hearing the experiences and perspectives of the guest speaker, and have the opportunity to ask questions during the session. Fireside Chats are also recorded for UIIN podcasts and are available after the session.
