About the position

We are looking for a new Project Officer to coordinate some of our research and development projects, and support the delivery of our training programs and consultancy services.

UIIN is supporting universities to become more innovative institutions with a stronger impact on society. Over the last few years, UIIN has been actively growing its research, training and advisory services to support universities across the world with their external engagement challenges.

This is an exciting time for the organisation as we continue to grow, and are looking for an experienced team member who can work across our research, training and consulting activities and work with our team to develop and execute new initiatives and concepts to enable universities tackle their external engagement challenges.

Start date: October/ November 2022

Typical tasks may include

Coordinate projects including stakeholder engagement, monitoring timelines, deliverables and budget
Conduct primary and secondary research activities (e.g. qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys, case studies, focus groups)
Analysis and interpretation of findings and synthesizing into reports, distilling insights into evidence-based recommendations (for consulting work)
Support our business development initiatives, including stakeholder meetings with our community and tracking of potential opportunities
Support acquisition of new projects through contributing to developing concepts, frameworks and proposals
Contribute to the delivery of our institutional programs and training programs
Support in workshops, focus groups and project meetings

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

About 1-3 years’ relevant work experience where you have demonstrably carried out multi-stakeholder projects or collaborations from start to finish
Willingness and capability to pioneer and test new initiatives
Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills – includes the ability to collect, analyse and make sense of both qualitative and quantitative data
Excellent analytical and written skills, with the ability to write and win proposals, distil key insights and deliver recommendations in reports
Understanding of the field of university-industry engagement is a plus
