UNLOCK CONFERENCE 28 - 29 November, 2022 • Online Register to the conference teaching in Higher Education UNLOCKing creative & innovative

This autumn, the UNLOCK consortium is organising an online, international conference focusing on game-based and challenge-based learning approaches in Higher Education Institutes, aiming to unlock students’ creativity and design thinking, and foster entrepreneurial skills through innovative teaching 

The UNLOCK project comes as an initiative from a group of Higher Education Institutions and businesses from 6 European countries – Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Lithuania
  > to develop a learning tool based on these game approach for using Educational Escape Rooms (EERs);
> to support HEIs in the design and implementation of learning solutions based on EERs;
> to raise the entrepreneurial skills in both students and educators, and
> to lead to the strengthening of their creativity and employability.

Mixture of theory and practice

Learn about the latest research and good practice cases on creative and innovative teaching of educational tools, but also participate in game-based learning workshops, to be better equipped to develop further tools that motivate learning.

To celebrate and recognise the innovative community of educators and their contributions to advancing HEI education, we introduce three UNLOCK Innovative Teaching Awards. We will also publish the conference speakers’ abstracts in our UNLOCK Conference Proceeding Chapter.

Have your work featured in MDPI's Special Issue

Post conference, apply your abstract (under the “Serious Games and Game-based learning” pedagogy domain) as a full article in a Special Issue by the Sustainable Journal and receive additional reviewing from the Special Issue’s editors.
