The UNLOCK project comes as an initiative from a group of Higher Education Institutions and businesses from 6 European countries – Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Lithuania
> to develop a learning tool based on these game approach for using Educational Escape Rooms (EERs);
> to support HEIs in the design and implementation of learning solutions based on EERs;
> to raise the entrepreneurial skills in both students and educators, and
> to lead to the strengthening of their creativity and employability.
Learn about the latest research and good practice cases on creative and innovative teaching of educational tools, but also participate in game-based learning workshops, to be better equipped to develop further tools that motivate learning.
Be recognised by your peers
To celebrate and recognise the innovative community of educators and their contributions to advancing HEI education, we introduce three UNLOCK Innovative Teaching Awards. We will also publish the conference speakers’ abstracts in our UNLOCK Conference Proceeding Chapter.
Network with like-minded innovators
Be inspired to drive change at your HEI through interaction and networking with similarly passionate professionals to realise the future of innovative learning environments.
Have your work featured in MDPI's Special Issue
Post conference, apply your abstract (under the “Serious Games and Game-based learning” pedagogy domain) as a full article in a Special Issue by the Sustainable Journal and receive additional reviewing from the Special Issue’s editors.
