What will be the format of the conference?
In July 2022, we announced that the UNLOCK Conference would occur on-site in Amsterdam. However, in September 2022 and after careful consideration, we decided to make the conference online to make it accessible to our community.
What is the submissions process?
You can submit your abstract, good practice case and/or workshop proposal through our submission page. We extended the submissions till October 16th. You will notified if your work is accepted to be presented in the conference on October 28th.
Can you share more information regarding the Special Issue in th Sustainability Journal?
The UNLOCK consortium collaborated with MDPI’s Sustainability Journal to publish a Special Issue on game-based learning (indexed my MDPI). The research extended-abstract proposals (under the “Serious Games and Game-based learning” pedagogy domain) that will be submitted and accepted for the conference will be eligible for additional reviewing ahead of their submissions as full articles, by the Special Issue editors.
Additionally, all extended abstract submissions for the conference will be included in a proceedings book (with an ISBN).
How can I access the conference?
We will share more registration information on October 10th, on this page.
After registering for the conference, you will receive a conference confirmation ticket and a link to the private session on Zoom ahead of the event. If you have been accepted to present at the conference, you will receive your conference ticket by email you have shared with us in your submission form.
Before the conference, you will need to ensure you can access Zoom on your digital device. Then, on the day of the conference, you can join the session by clicking on the link that has been provided to you.
What is the fee for registering to the conference?
As the conference is part of the UNLOCK, an Erasmus+ funded project, it will be free of charge to register and participate in the conference.
What is the conference's program?
We will start announcing the program, after October 16th.
Stay tuned!
Can I join the conference on my phone/tablet?
We recommend watching on a computer or laptop for the best experience, but the stream will also work on mobile and tablet.
Can I share the link to join the conference with a colleague?
No, the link to the conference is unique to you, so your colleague will need to register for a ticket to get access.
I am not available at the time that the live stream is taking place. Will the session be recorded and posted at a later date?
This is a LIVE online conference and there are currently no plans to air recordings of sessions after they have taken place.
I cannot find the answer to my question. How can I contact the organiser?
Please email Déspina Kortesidou at [email protected] and we will be able to assist you.
