From Impact Ambition to Real-World Change

20 August, 1:00pm - 1:30pm UTC | Fireside Chat
Impact

Research impact is often discussed as an ambition, a requirement or a reporting exercise — but what does it take to make it happen in practice? In this fireside chat, Professor Mark Reed, CEO of Fast Track Impact, will explore how researchers can plan for meaningful change, engage stakeholders, evidence impact and build the habits that make impact part of everyday research. Drawing on his work through Fast Track Impact and his writing on impact culture, the conversation will offer a practical look at how institutions can move beyond impact language towards research cultures that support real-world change.
